939,638. Multiple fastenings. A. STRENGER, K. STRENGER, and L. STRENGER, [trading as H. STRENGER [Firm of]]. Feb. 9, 1962 [June 8, 1961], No. 5021/62. Class 44. A fastener for securing a casement window comprises a cam 3 bearing a prong 3b mounted in an aperture 1d of a support-plate 1 and between cover-plates 4, 5. The prong 3b engages with studs 8, 9 provided between slidable bars 10a, 10b, which are pivoted to bars 12, 13, the bars 12, 13 being connected to bolts (not shown) for the window. The cam is rotated by a knob or handle which is secured to the support plate by screws which engage sockets 14 located between the plates 4, 5.
