A strip bandage has a clip attached to its end so that, after the bandage has been wound around a limb, the free end can be secured to the underlying layers. The clip is preferably made of metal, with inwardly directed teeth 14, 15 punched out of it, and with an S-shaped central portion which can be compressed to grip the end 17 of the bandage. After the bandage has been wound round a limb and depending on which face of the bandage is directed towards the limb either the teeth 15, Fig. 4, can be hooked into the underlying turns to secure the end or the clip can be turned over, as in Fig. 5, and the teeth 14 similarly used.
