A finger dressing comprises a trough-shaped part 12 having one side extended to form a flap 10, which may be wrapped over the finger so as to be secured to the other side 14 by a layer of adhesive. In order to keep the dressing in position it carries a layer of adhesive 36 around the edge of its open end. The dressing may have a notch 22 to facilitate shaping to the finger and it may have a pad 28 serving as a protection for a wound.
