Abstract

A macroporous resin which satisfies the TBCS test described in the parent Specification in the salt form is used to remove organic impurities when it is not in ionic equilibrium with the liquid. Removal of the inorganic ions is conventional. Sodium chloride/hypochlorite solution is used as regenerate. Specifications 900,496 and 906,243 also are referred to.
