Abstract

932,357. Packaging ammunition cartridges. DYNAMIT NOBEL A.G. Oct. 19, 1960 [Dec. 10, 1959], No. 35875/60. Class 9 (1). A packing for ammunition cartridges comprises two strips 1 of thermoplastic material such as polyethylene, polypropylene and polyvinyl chloride, between which a row of cartridges is placed, the strips being welded together along lines 3, 4. Perforations 6 are provided to allow separation of one cartridge from another and a tear strip 5 enables easy removal of the cartridges from the package. The cartridges may, in each row, face in opposite directions alternately and a larger package having a plurality of rows is also described.
