Abstract

Vinyl chloride is polymerized in presence of a catalyst which is a physical admixture of an organometallic compound of Group IVb such as lead, and an organometallic compound of Group IA, IIB or IIIA such as lithium, zinc or aluminium. Specified catalyst components are Lin-Bu, AlEt3 and PbEt4.
