Abstract
In a method of producing finned metal stock (see Group XXII), materials such as aluminium and its alloys, copper and copper alloys, zinc and stainless steel are coated with stopweld materials such as silicone or hydrocarbon grease, or finely divided refractory materials such as alumina, silica and titania. The refractory materials may be deposited by flame spraying.
