Class 20(2) [Also in Group XXV] An adjustable leg for scaffolding comprises a base-plate having a screw-threaded rod entering a nut 6 which has formations to clean the thread on the rod. The formations comprise angularly-spaced cavities 8 at one end of the nut having radial cleaning faces 8<SP>1</SP>. The rest of the construction is identical with that described in Specification 926,882.
