Abstract

923,687. Lampshades. WAITE & SON Ltd. June 23, 1961 [April 7, 1961], No. 12557/61. Class 75 (2). A chandalier-type lampshade comprises a plurality of supports each defining a closed figure, the first support including suspension means for the shade and the other support or supports being suspended from the first support, and a plurality of drops on each support, the drops interlocking with the support by a snap fit of projections and recesses respectively on the support and drops, or on the drops and support. A support 1 is suspended by chains 9 from a ring 10 for connection to an electric light fitting and is also connected by chains to a second support 2. The supports are formed with inwardly projecting radial flanges in which are a plurality of T-shaped recesses into which the necks of the drops 3 are sprung.
