[Also in Group XXX] The bin 6 which is part of the weighing- receptacle of apparatus for weighing batches of material, e.g. concrete ballast, is interchangeable with other bins and is easily detachable from a fixing frame 2 on the weighing-apparatus and is itself fitted with a detachable base 10. The capacity is then adaptable to concrete mixers of different sizes. The base 10 includes an outlet mechanism 11. The detachable connections preferably function in the manner of a drawer: slides 5 on the bin engage guides 4 on the frame 2 and slides 9 on the base engage guides 8 on the bin and the components are secured in position by screws 7. Each bin is associated with an indicator 12 for the weighing equipment. The indicators are interchangeable and are designed to allow for the differences in the weights of different-sized bins.
