Abstract

921,265. Mechanical couplings for cable sheathing. HELLERMANN Ltd. June 1, 1961 [June 1, 1960], No. 19370/60. Addition to 775,029. Class 38 (1). In a multiway seal 17, 20, 21, as shown in the Figure and as disclosed in the parent Specification, the plates 20, 21 between which the grommet 17 is compressed are attached to the grommet 17 whilst it is being moulded. The plates are of metal or of any rigid synthetic resin such as melamine or resin-bonded fibre glass. The part of the grommet 17 on the outer face of the plate 20 is connected with the part between the plates by bushes which pass through the holes in the plate 20.
