Abstract

[Also in Group XXIV] In a releasable coupling for connecting a Bowden cable 9 to an operated mechanism a spherical nipple 15 on the cable 9 engages a slotted hole 11 in a block 10 which is slidable on a fixed or floating plate 1 and is permanently or detachably connected to the operated mechanism by means such as a second Bowden cable 91. The plate 1 has slotted bushes 6 to receive the cable heads 7 and a cover 2 has a keyhole slot 14 allowing the cable 9 to be readily detached.
