Abstract

920,979. Lamp glasses. SEDAN PRODUCTS Ltd. Sept. 28, 1961 [Dec. 3, 1960], No. 41674/60. Class 75 (2). A glass for vehicle lamps is of hollow block form having a substantially plane wall presenting the major area of the glass and surrounded by side walls, the interior surface of all the walls being ridged to diffuse the light. The ridges 12 on the plane wall may be in the form of concentric circles about a spherical lenticular area behind which the lamp filament is situated. The side walls 6, 7, 8, 9 are provided with ridges 14 normal to the plane of the wall 5 and similarly spaced to the ridges 12. The glass may be generally triangular for use with a frame as described in Specification 912,648.
