Vinyl chloride is polymerized in aqueous emulsion at a temperature between 50 DEG and 100 DEG C. in the presence of cyclohexanone peroxide as an initiator. Other ingredients of the polymerization recipe are sodium lauryl sulphonate, cetyl alcohol, stearyl alcohol and sodium bicarbonate.
