915,026. Hoppers for feeding screw elevators. HILL Ltd., CHRISTOPHER. Sept. 28, 1960 [July 10, 1959], No. 23850/59. Class 78 (1). A hopper for feeding material to a screw elevator includes a socket part 10 which receives the screw and a hopper part 50. The part 50 has a rear wall 11 which is detachably secured at 16 to part 10, and side walls 12, 13 which are hinged to wall 11 and are secured at 17 to part 10, the walls 11 being supported at 18. The two parts 10 and 50 therefore are detachable from the screw, and part 50 is foldable for stowage. Specification 915,027 is referred to.
