914,950. Bowden mechanism. KENWOOD MANUFACTURING (WOKING) Ltd. -Feb. 10, 1961 [Feb. 25, 1960], No. 6693/60. Class 80 (3). Mechanism for the remote control of a foodmixing machine comprises a flexible cable 39 having its middle portion wrapped around a helical groove 21 in a driving-wheel 18, the two ends of the cable being passed through sheaths 36 and wrapped around a helical groove in a driven wheel 22. The cable is secured to the wheels 18, 22 by pins 43, 45 respectively, about one-and-a-half turns being wound on each wheel. The ends of the sheaths 36 are located at one end in counterbored holes 35 in a bracket 29, freely mounted on a driven spindle 24, and are mounted at the other end in a flange 27 of a bracket 25 by screw-threaded ferrules 37.
