913,551. Pulse - discriminating circuits. MINNEAPOLIS - HONEYWELL REGULATOR CO. Jan. 6, 1959 [Jan. 8, 1958], No. 511/59. Addition to 861,717. Class 40 (6). [Also in Group XL (b)] Pulses from a quenched Geiger-Muller tube circuit arising from sustained incident ionizing radiation (see Group XL (b)), appear on line 328 and are applied via paths with different integration time constants introduced by capacitors 330, 332 to the grids of valve 300. Timecoincidence of grid inputs actuates relay 306, the valve normally being biased-offby capacitor 323. Random pulses, e.g. from natural background radiation do not give coincidence and the relay remains de-energized.
