913,254. Chains. KING, D. M. July 26, 1961 [Aug. 3, 1960], No. 26927/60. Drawings to Specification. Class 24. [Also in Group XXII] The shaped blanks from which the inner links of the chain described in Specification 869,746 are formed, are produced by the application of pressure to selected regions of the surface of a rectangular metal strip, thereby producing a localised outward flow of metal into bulbous projections from the strip's longitudinal edges, so that when the strip is bent and joined as described in the Specification referred to, the bulbous projections form the widened ends of the link. The blank may comprise a half link as in that Specification or a whole link.
