[Also in Group XXXI] A bracket lampholder has an egg-shaped body 10 recessed at 11 for a bulb-holder 24 which is urged by a spring 25 against a contact on an insulating disc 17. The body 10 is attached to the front forks 44 of a motor-cycle by a lug 27 suitably angled to hold the lamp directed horizontally. Means for adjusting the angle of the bracket for variations in the angle of the attaching surface on the cycle are discussed. Between the recess 11 and the lug 27 means 33 are provided in or on the bracket to hold an accessory mounting bar 41. Two brackets and a bar can be mounted as in Fig. 3 on the front forks 44 of a cycle to provide a pair of parking lights. Flashing indicators may be attached to the ends of the bar.
