911,220. Magnetic erasing heads. TELEFUNKEN G.m.b.H. April 9, 1959 [April 18, 1958], No. 11975/59. Drawings to Specification Class 40 (2). Signals are erased from a magnetic medium by passing same across an erasing head having a number of gaps of progressively decreasing size, independent alternating erasing fields being produced in the vicinity of each of the gaps.
