Abstract

Orally administrable compositions for the treatment of bacterial infections comprise per unit dose from 120 to 280 mgm. of potassium phenoxyethyl penicillin and from 130 to 200 mgm of each of sulphadiazine, sulphamerazine and sulphamethazine. They may be in forms such as a tablet or flavoured aqueous suspension which may optionally also comprise tetracycline, bismuth subcarbonate and pyridium in addition to conventional pharmaceutical excipients.
