910,362. Travelling-wave tubes. CSF COMPAGNIE GENERALE DE TELEGRAPHIE SANS FIL. March 8, 1961 [March 29, 1960], No. 8424/61. Class 39 (1). In an M-type travelling-wave tube the sole electrode 6, as shown in the form of a box for the electrostatic shielding of the insulating supports and the leads 17 for the cathode 9. The box 6 has a removable cover 7 for providing access to the interior and the cover 7 may consist of tantalum to act as gettering material while the remainder of the box consists of crimped molybdenum sheets.
