909,929. Magnetic drum data storage apparatus. GENERAL ELECTRIC CO. Ltd., and WAYMAN, C. J. June 23, 1961 [June 29, 1960], No. 22845/60. Drawings to Specification. Class 106 (1). Clock signals for data recorded on a magnetic drum are derived from a number of magnetic heads spaced around the periphery of a toothed wheel mounted coaxially with the drum and rotating therewith. The signal obtained from two or three heads mounted symmetrically and wired in series is more regular than that obtainable from a single head.
