Abstract

The subject-matter of this Specification is substantially the same as that of Specification 909,272, but the claims are directed towards the inclusion with finely divided tobacco of ethyl hydroxyethyl cellulose and a cross-linking agent, and there are references to the use of humectants other than tetraethylene glycol, i.e. glycerine, diethylene glycol and, in a quantitative example, triethylene glycol. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 874,135.
