Abstract

908,523. Measuring electrically. MINAS, G. Jan. 22, 1959 [Jan. 27, 1958], No. 2438/59. Class 40 (1). A device for transmitting the angular position of a magnetically asymmetrical rotor, four possible shapes of which are in Figs. 1 to 4 comprises coils which generate a rotating field in the plane of the rotor and a further coil at right angles to the plane of the rotor whose output is an alternating voltage modulated according to the rotor position. The shaded portions of the rotors are of magnetic material, the non- shaded portion non-magnetic. A single-phase field may be used. The rotor may be laminated.
