Abstract

A uniform mixture of a heavy powder and a particulate light metal is produced by passing the powder and light metal together through rollers to produce compacted flakes. A uniform mixture of uranium tetrafluoride and magnesium may be so produced, the mixture being suitable for processing as described in Specification 780,974 to produce uranium.
