903,993. Mounting engines. METALASTIK Ltd. Jan. 28, 1959 [Feb. 19, 1958], No. 5450/58. Class 79(3). An internal combustion engine having inline cylinders is supported at the rear end by a pair of resilient blocks 11 sandwiched between brackets 13 attached to the frame and brackets 12 attached to the engine and at the fore end is suspended from a strap 16 which is connected to a bracket 15 attached to the engine by a link 18, the link having pins 22 each bushed by resilient members 21. The pins 22 may also be provided with cuffs 23. The cylinders may be vertical or horizontal and alternative positions for the suspension points are described. The bracket 13 may be sandwiched between a pair of blocks 11 and a pair of brackets 12 attached to the engine.
