Abstract

901,507. Boxes. LANGFORD, R. S. Nov. 19, 1960, No. 39853/60. Class 18. A container of wood, cardboard or a plastic comprises an outer box a and an inner box b, each of rectangular formation, with the inner container resiliently suspended on eight synthetic rubber bands c, which engage loops d provided with hooks d<SP>1</SP>, which in turn engage comer brackets e and f. The hooks are twisted so that the bands are disposed at an angle of 45 degrees with respect to the walls of the outer box. In the embodiments, in which one or both of the boxes are made of cardboard, fibreboard or a plastics material they may be strengthened at their periphery, where the bands are attached, by peripheral rods or wires.
