Abstract
901,441. Transistor amplifying circuits. BLONDER-TONGUE ELECTRONICS. May 11, 1961, No. 17310/61. Class 40 (6). The output of a constant current source 1 is amplified by a transistor 5 having an emitter resistor R2 by-passed by capacitor C2 for high frequencies only and having an inductor L1 arranged to resonate with the input and output capacitances C B and C x at the high-frequency end of the band. R2 should be less than R B . The gain at the low-frequency end is maintained by the increase in input impedance due to negative feed-back across R2. The bias stabilizing circuit comprising R4, R5, C3 may be omitted as in Fig. 1 (not shown). The circuit may be driven by a vidicon camera.
