901,414. Venetian blinds. ESKILSTUNA INDUSTRINYTT A.B. Dec. 28, 1960, No. 44518/60. Class 20 (3). A Venetian blind mounting comprises a V-section casing 1 enclosing tilt-tape rollers 11 and bearing- brackets 8 held therein by flanges on the side walls of the casing 1, and said sidewalls and said brackets have contiguous transverse slots 5, 6 for the passage of the tilt-tapes 12, 13, the width of the bottom of the casing and its distance from the top slat 2 being such that when the slats are closed the upper edge of the top slat 2 overlaps the casing 1, as shown in chain line. The tapes 12, 13 pass through transverse holes in the roller 11, the knot tying the ends of the tapes lying in a recess in the roller. The brackets 8 have flanges (not shown) for attachment to a support and the lower side of each bracket has a groove in which is mounted a roller 20 for guiding the pulling cords 21. Flanges 14, 15 around the slot in the bracket 8 pass through the slots 5, 6 in the casing walls.
