899,340. Swimming pools. BENDER, E. A. April 11, 1961, No. 12968/61. Class 26. [Also in Group XXIX] A swimming pool has a deck 22 with. a coping 29 which are lower in height than the other end and side copings. 24, 25, 27 so that. a removable cover 28 can be withdrawn from above the pool on to the deck 22 after it has been folded up accordion fashion by electrical power (see Group XXIX). Where the coping 29 and deck 22 are not lower, tracks 156 with ramps may be provided removably on the coping 24 to raise the cover 28 when it is folded towards the deck 22. Bent rods 136 set in the coping anchor the cover whilst it is extended. An irregularly shaped pool 164 may be surrounded by a rectangular coping 166 to enable the cover to be operated.
