Abstract

899,041. Ice cream &c. cones. BLATCHFORD, W. C. (Wise, R. T.). March 14, 1960, No. 8835/60. Class 28 (1). [Also in Group XVII] An edible cone 12 is placed within a protective cone 10 and filled with ice cream and the cone 10 is sealed at the top by the flange 31 of a cover 30. The edible contents may be topped by a chocolate syrup and nuts. The protective cone 10 and the cover 30 may be of paper or other flexible material such as transparent plastic foil and the cover, which is initially in the form of a polygonal disc, is inserted and sealed by a heated plunger 24, Fig. 6, leaving tabs 32 which may be used to pull out the top.
