899,007. Mechanical switches, without quickaction. BUSCH - JAEGER DURENER METALLWERKE A.G. Dec. 4, 1958 [Dec. 6, 1957], No. 39143/58. Class 38 (5). A switch for controlling an electric heating cushion comprises a pair of contacts L, P 1 and a group of, four contacts 5<SP>2,</SP> 5, 521, 1<SP>1</SP> contacts 5<SP>2</SP>, 52<SP>1</SP> being permanently connected by a bridge 3. A pair of arcuate movable contacts 1, 2 are formed on a member 6a integral with a cover 6 and knob 12. The contacts 1, 2 extend over an arcuate distance corresponding to the arcuate distance subtended by three adjacent fixed contacts, the fixed contacts being arranged at six of the apices of an imaginary regular octagon. The base 4 for the fixed contacts has a number of locating ribs 4b cooperating with ribs 6b on member 6.
