Weights 3 are lifted from boxes 8 leaving the cooling section by a hoist 1 which then moves transversely to deposit them on boxes 9 entering the cooling section. The hoist comprises an electromagnet 2 with a projection 4 for locating in a corresponding recess in the mould weight.
