A pneumatic tyre reinforcement winding of the form described in the parent Specification has the loops of its looped side edges either severed or cut off in strips. In the latter case, the strip cut from each looped side edge of the winding may be of a width <SP>1</SP>/ 16 of the total width of the winding. Specification 894,706 also is referred to.
