Abstract
Procaine or choline heparinate is prepared by the interaction of procaine base or choline and heparin acid.ALSO:A galenic suppository containing a salt of heparin as active ingredient e.g. the sodium, choline or procaine salt together with a suppository base, e.g. cocoa butter, wax, glyceric esters of fatty acids, a polymer of ethylene oxide linked to a sulphamido aromatic radical, glycerin, stearic acid or propylene 1 : 2 glycol. The heparin is present in an amount corresponding to 5 to 200 m.g. per unit dose.
