890,427. Milling cutters. WOMERSLEY & BROADBENT Ltd. Sept. 9, 1960 [Sept. 22, 1959], No. 32153/59. Class 83 (3). [Also in Group XXIII] Inserted blades 14 are held in the slots 3 of a rotary cutter block 1 by jaws 7, each of which have inclined wedge faces 8 co-operating with wedge pieces 9A, 10 that are drawn together by a screw 13. The notch 6 in each slot for receiving the wedge pieces is preferably semicircular to permit a rocking action for taking up small inequalities in the blade thickness. A peg 9 entering a hole 5 locates each jaw in the slot.
