Abstract

A tapeworm control agent comprises 2-hydroxy - 5,21 - dichloro - 41 - nitrobenzanilide and a solid pharmaceutical carrier or water containing an emulsifying agent. The preparation may be in the form of tablet, pill, powder or suspension. The tablet contains 0.1 to 0.5 grm. of the active ingredient and the pill 0.1 to 0.3 grm. Liquid suspensions and granules contain 20 to 200 mg. per c.c. and per gram respectively of the active ingredient.
