Class 132(3) A collapsible toy track comprises a section b hinged at n to a section c provided with teeth for engagement by a toothed driving wheel of a traction vehicle q. A level track section e has a portion # hinged to it and the portion # is normally spring urged to a substantially horizontal position. The first section h of the return part of the track is hinged at m to a track portion i which runs into the track section b. A waggon p is coupled to the traction vehicle at a starting station a and as the vehicles reach an intermediate station o, the forward end of the waggon is lifted by cams r formed on the inside of the walls of the station. The waggon is thus uncoupled and runs back over the sections c, b, to the starting station. The traction vehicle continues on and moves on to the track portion # which is momentarily depressed so that the vehicle rolls on to the return track sections h, i. The track section c is raised by the vehicle which then travels on the section b to the starting station where the two vehicles are automatically recoupled ready for further operation. The mechanism of the traction vehicle may be spring driven and a member j in the waggon is reversible so that two different loads, e.g. coal or gravel may be represented. The hinged connections at m and n comprise plates 1 having projections 2 which engage in edge portions 6 of the track. Fig. 3 shows how the track may be collapsed for packing.
