Abstract

887,772. Gas filters. EDWARDS, H. A. June 10, 1960 [June 10, 1959], No. 19917/59. Class 8(2). The open end of a gas filter bag 10 is clamped against the periphery of an aperture in a horizontal partition 11 of a filter cabinet 12, Fig. 2 (not shown), by a collar 3 projecting through said aperture and having secured to it a tubular bag-distending frame 2. As shown the bag mouth is held between the radially extending collar 3 and said periphery by a nut 8 screwed to the outer end 7 of a sleeve 1 of which the collar 3 forms a part.
