Abstract
887,475. Postal tubes. ROLEX PAPER CO. Ltd. Jan. 26, 1960 [Feb. 16, 1959], No. 5359/59. Class 94(1). Rolled drawings, &c., are retained in a protective cardboard or like tube by curled-in rims 11, the rim at one end having cuts, notches or a cut-out enabling it to be more readily turned outwards to permit removal of the drawings. In one embodiment, a section of the rim is completely removed, Figs. 1, 2 (not shown). In others a pair of cuts or notches form a tongue. The tongue 9<SP>1</SP> need extend over only a part of the rim width so that when it is pulled, the rim is locally unrolled. In a further form the rim is divided by cuts 17 round its entire periphery.
