Class 137 A roof ventilator comprising a metal cylinder 1 protruding through a roof 2 is characterized by insulating material 5, 6 being applied to the inner surface of the metal cylinder and to the outer surface of that part of the cylinder extending below the roof in order to prevent condensation on these surfaces. The ventilator may consist of a single cylinder 1 and a cover 4 or may comprise three cylinders as shown in Fig. 3. The insulating material is formed from expanded polystyrene.
