Abstract

Pharmaceutical and veterinary compositions comprise a pharmaceutically inert diluent or carrier in admixture with a compound selected from: N1 : N2 - bis(methylthiocarbamoyl)-hydrazine; N1 : N2 - bis(ethylthiocarbamoyl)-hydrazine; N1 : N2 - bis(allylthiocarbamoyl)-hydrazine and N1 - methylthiocarbamoyl - N2-allylthiocarbamoyl hydrazine. The compositions may be in forms suitable for oral and parenteral administration, e.g. tablets, capsules, pills, solutions and suspensions in water and organic solvent media, dispersable powders, mixtures with animal feedstuffs and premixes for addition thereto and may contain conventional excipients, e.g. wetting, dispersing, suspending, lubricating, sweetening, flavouring and colouring agents.
