883,938. X-ray film cassettes. ASSOCIATED ELECTRICAL INDUSTRIES Ltd. March 12, 1958 [April 8, 1957], No. 11387/57. Drawings to Specification. Class 98(1). An X-ray film cassette includes two resilient compression pads between which the film and one or more intensifying screens are sandwiched at least the pad which is in front of the film being transparent to X-rays and the rear pad being secured to the rear wall of the cassette. The pad in front of the film may be secured to the rear of the front plate of the cassette and the film may be carried between two intensifying screens.
