Abstract

A moulding composition comprises a conjugated diolefin polymer or copolymer oil which has been cured in the presence of a catalyst and from 5 to 50%, on the total composition, of an inert plasticizer. The oil is preferably prepared by polymerizing butadiene styrene at 20 to 200 DEG C. using metallic sodium. The curing catalysts may be benzoyl, dicumyl, ditertiary butyl or tertiary butyl hydrogen peroxides. The inert plasticizer is preferably present in from 7-15% of the total composition and may be the sebacates, adipates, dibutyl phthalate or preferred, tricresyl phosphate.
