881,511. Ski-ing tracks. ACQUADERNI, P. Dec. 1, 1959 [Dec. 5, 1958; Aug. 14, 1959], No. 40791/59. Class 132(1) A track for skiers comprises brush members with the free ends of their bristles uppermost. The brushes may have straight or wavy bristles, Figs. 1 or 2, mounted in sockets 1 or 9, straight bristles being more slippery than wavy bristles. In a track made up mainly of brushes with straight bristles, Fig. 3, brushes with wavy bristles are used towards the outer edge on the bends. The bases carrying the bristles may be undulating Figs. 4 and 7 or zig-zag.
