880,944. Variable-frequency radiosondes. OY, V. March 4, 1960 [March 5, 1959], No. 7683/60. Class 40 (1). In a radio-sonde, the frequency of the transmitting oscillator is varied in accordance with the measured variables by causing the devices sensitive to the latter to move a non-magnetic plate b in relation to a preferably flat inductor a in the resonant circuit. This improves the linearity of the movements of the recording pen with the quantities recorded. Suggested measurements are temperature pressure and humidity, the respective transducers being connected up in turn.
