Class 20(4) A roof structure comprises a series of evenly spaced parallel girders or beams B in which each pair of adjacent girders are connected by a spaced series of cranked girders C secured to the top of one girder B and to the bottom of an adjacent girder B, the upper portion c<SP>1</SP> of each cranked girder being braced by an inclined member D connected to the bottom of that girder B to which said upper portion c<SP>1</SP> is secured. Windows C<SP>1</SP> are provided between inclined sections c<SP>3</SP> of adjacent cranked girders C. The members D in the same plane may be enclosed by sheet material d which may be whitened to reflect light entering the windows C<SP>1</SP>. Outer decking b<SP>1</SP> and heat or sound insulating lining are provided.
