879,850. Bricks for furnace roofs. SILIKAUND SCHAMOTTE FABRIKEN MARTIN & PAGENSTECHER A.G. June 30, 1960 [July 1, 1959], No. 22975/60. Class 51 (2). A rib brick, Fig. 6, for an industrial furnace has a central fixing hole 3 and recesses 4 at either side of a size and shape at least equal to half a central fixing hole, so that the rib brick 1a may be laid in bond with the fixing means passing through the central hole 3 of one brick and the recesses 4 of adjacent two bricks. The recesses 5 may be open to the top of the brick lb, Fig. 7.
