In a process for the manufacture of camouflage nets having a carrier network and camouflage foils, single pieces of camouflage foil, or the like disposed thereon assembled groups of camouflage foil pieces approximately of identical size and shape are mechanically applied on both sides and at. opposite points of the network at least partly in coincident positions, the opposed camouflage. foil pieces on the opposite sides of the network being connected with each other and with the network carrier between them. The process may be carried out by coating the network with an adhesive, temporarily moving an assembled group of camouflage foil pieces from stacks thereof vertically upwards against the underside of the network, removing the pile of foil pieces downwardly except the uppermost pieces which remain adhering to the underside of the network, applying an adhesive on the upper side of the camouflage foil pieces already applied, moving a second group of camouflage foil pieces approximately of identical size and shape and at least partly in coincident position to the first group of camouflage foil pieces on the opposite side of the network against the latter, and mechanically connecting the opposed camouflage pieces by pressing them together. The camouflage foil pieces and the network may be rigidly connected by adhesive, welding or riveting. The network may be of wire or metal strips which may be provided with a rust-preventive coating or a plastic coating, or it may be of textile or plastic, intertwined or connected in any other way. The foil pieces may be of any shape for example triangles, curved figures, circles and so on and may be made of metal foil, plastic foil, or the like.
